The Rectoral de Anllo is an 18th Century construction, which owing to its fine features owes more to rural Italian Renaissance than the Galician architecture of the period. It is situated quite a distance away from the church and so this suggests that it wasn't constructed so much as a rectory but as a donation by the nobles of the day. It has been beautifully restored and at the moment contains paintings by Castinandi, who was a Galician painter of the time.
Like all Pazos, there is a fair amount of history surrounding the building and in this case it is the following. With regards to the scenic location for the Pazo, it is extremely well located. The visitor can also enjoy at less than 3 kms away from the house and a joining the estate, a full sports complex, including swimming pool, tennis courts, and football pitch. Its spectacular surroundings are a must for the visitor who enjoys local folk culture and wildlife, very evident in the cultivation of the nearby vineyards..
