Maryland Real Estate Agent Helps Busy Buyers Find Homes
Frederick, MD (PRWeb) February 8, 2007 -- Andy Kraus, a REALTOR® licensed in Maryland and Virginia, offers unique tools to help busy buyers find their ideal home through his information-rich website.
By using the interactive maps feature, buyers can quickly search for homes themselves in many locations such as Rockville or Frederick in Montgomery or Frederick counties. They can also choose to have Andy and his team do the searching for them by filling out the Find a Home Request Form, so they can quickly and easily have all the listings that fit their criteria sent to them by email.
This spring, with the typical seasonal increase in the number of homes on the market, buyers should continue to enjoy the advantage of an overabundance of available homes from which to choose. Andy Kraus commented, "The market tends to pick up in the spring as many people put their homes on the market so they can move during summer vacation." All this is good news for buyers because -- with an increase in the supply of available homes -- prices should continue to drop.
Andy researched homes on the market in Frederick and Montgomery counties in Maryland and Northern Virginia -- which includes Fairfax County, Fairfax City, Arlington County, Alexandria City and Falls Church City. He compared the number of homes active on the market in December 2005 to actives in December 2006. While researching the "MLS Resale Data" from Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc., Andy found that there were roughly 2¼ to 2½ times more homes on the market in 2006 than there were in 2005 (in the areas cited). What's more, during the 12-month period from December 2005 to December 2006, the average number of days on the market at least doubled in those same areas. Given these past trends, it is likely that the buyers market should continue throughout spring 2007, making it a great time to purchase a new home.
When you're in the market to buy a new home in the Maryland or Northern Virginia area, let Andy and his team do the work for you. You can reach Andy at ERA PRO Realty at 800-372-6616.
